I only use calm, insecure, oblivious, restless. New Emotional Traits – Adds several new emotional traits to the game.Lifetime Aspirations Mod – Makes the aspirations more like they were in The Sims 2, with a single goal to be accomplished over a lifetime.Grow up Aspiration – Adds the “grow up” aspiration for children from The Sims 2.These are my favorite mods to add new aspirations and traits to the game or improve the ones we already have. Click on relationship bars to change relationships, etc. Example: Click on simoleons and change the amount. UI Cheats Extension – Allows you to click on the UI and enter cheats directly.Special whims for: pregnancy, elder life stage, childhood phases, etc. Whim Overhaul – This is an overhaul of the EA whim system which enhances the chances for family based whims and tunes down whims to buy new stuff.Simulation Unclogger – Detects when a Sim causes the simulation to get stuck, rendering the game unplayable, and attempts to fix it.I use this instead of the Simulation Lag Fix because I find it works better in my game. Quicker Sim Autonomy & Simulation Lag Improvements – You will need an account at Sims Asylum to download this mod.MC Command Center – This is Master Controller for Sims 4.Removes idle chat and makes several other improvements. For example, romance Sims are more likely to do romantic interactions and mean Sims are more likely to do mean interactions. Have Some Personality Please – Adds more personality to your Sims.This includes various careers and skills that don't have an Aspiration attached to them, plus a few inspired by older games which encourage different playstyles.Although I play with all the mods on this list, there are a few I could not EVER play without. I'm also working on a collection of brand new Aspirations to help fill out some neglected areas of the game. Here's a visual of every revamped Aspiration: Unfortunately I lack the time to properly test each Aspiration and ensure they're an appropriate level of difficulty, so I figure the best way to go about this is to just release the mod and make changes based on feedback/as I play through them all myself. Sadly the game's issues in this regard run a bit deeper, but hey, this should at least help. Say goodbye to your cheap Satisfaction Point slaves and hello to actual, personable Sims! To an extent, of course. This turns Aspirations into long-term goals, rather than short-term checklists, and really helps the gameplay feel more meaningful.
This mod overhauls every Aspiration (besides the Star Wars ones) do be a single goal, one which will hopefully take the majority of your Sim's lifetime to complete. So I've spent the last few months learning to mod specifically to fix that issue! I present: Lifetime Aspirations! I've been long dissatisfied with the Sims 4's glorified tutorials that the game calls Aspirations.
